Not having heard of Mike Koenigs or Traffic Geyser prior to this, I was unsure of what to expect. The class was billed as Powerful Web Video strategies.

The presentation provided many insights as I was furiously taking notes the entire time.

First, Mike is great, his class was interactive and involved, the instructions were clear and easily applicable for anyone that’s already involved in some form of social media.

His running statement being “if you could push a red button” then you also could become a successful web video marketer.

Below, you’ll find the best tips from the class.

1. YOU.  EVERYWHERE . NOW or rather ME . EVERYWHERE . NOW. You/Me – represents your brand, your product, or your service. Everywhere – these are your influence engines, i.e – social media outlets; twitter, facebook, youtube, vimeo…
2. Its about the psychology and system not the technology. Mike believes that success lies in the mastery of your audience/consumer. How so? He suggests focusing on the story, the realness of whatever it is you are presenting
3. Name your videos using popular keywords in news and media, but make sure its applicable to your video. Bait and Switch is not advised and will only alienate your viewers.
4. Follow your passion – sure you could talk about whats “hot”, but you’ll soon run out of material or get bored.

Overall, it seems that web video is another way to gain even more visibility for your brand.

It is your online calling card, homepage, website; personal or business, resume, portal and splash page. It can be used for lifestreaming, commercial promotion and brand marketing.

The interface is quite user friendly.

The design/layout is very elegant.

The possibilities are endless… selecting a background was the hardest part for me

slightly dislike

Save for the home page, I didn’t love the way the “feeds” were displayed on flavors.me

Also, it did not seem to grab my pictures from wordpress.

Overall, a great free service. The look of flavor.me is definitely one you want associated with your business.

The idea was to stay within her style aesthetic while still giving her a polished look.
